70th National Film Awards: Malayalam Film 'Artam' Wins Best Film, Rishab Shetty Takes Best Actor Award
The 70th National Film Awards 2024 have been announced, with the Malayalam film "Artam" receiving the prestigious Best Film award. This year, South Indian cinema dominated the awards. Rishab Shetty won the Best Actor award for his role in the film "Kantara," while Nithya Menen and Manasi Parekh jointly received the Best Actress award. Nithya Menen was honored for her performance in the Tamil film "Thiruchitrambalam," and Manasi Parekh for her role in the Gujarati film "Kutch Express."
The Hindi film "Gulmohar," starring Manoj Bajpayee and Sharmila Tagore, won the award for Best Hindi Film.
